The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) courses teach people how to provide emergency care for someone in need. The courses make learning easy by providing a nonstressful environment in which participants practice and apply emergency care skills.

EFR Primary and Secondary Care courses are based on internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care - guidelines produced through a consensus process of practicing professionals in the emergency medical field.

The Emergency First Response Program or its equivalent is a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver Program. This course is recommended for non-divers as well as all divers.

EFR Refresher -- $39.95

The primary purpose of the Emergency First Response Refresher is to help update Primary and Secondary Care knowledge and skills. This program allows participants to practice basic skills and to fine tune their ability in a relaxed and stress-free environment.

Keep in mind, the EFR certification is only valid for a 24 month period. If your EFR certification has expired, you do not have to take the entire course again - the refresher course will give you all the training, and confidence, you need.
