Join the Edge for a day trip charter out to Race Rocks!  We will be diving off of the Juan De Fuca Warrior.

We will be catching the 10AM ferry from
Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, and doing two boat dives.  We will try to make the 5PM ferry back to Vancouver, and the 7PM at the latest.

  • Declared an Ecological Reserve in 1980
  • Whatever your diving interest, you'll love Race Rocks
  • 30 - 110 feet deep (9 - 34 meters)
  • Average visibility 50 feet (15 meters)
  • Plenty of current-must dive around slack (currents up to 9.6 knots!)

Race Rocks is located in the eastern entrance of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Midway between the cities of Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and Port Angeles on the Olympic Penninsula of Washington State, USA.

Cold, nutrient-rich waters from the depths of the Pacific Ocean are forced upwards to the surface in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Fast-moving water with eddies and whirlpools at Race Rocks supports an ecosystem very rich in marine mammals, fish, invertebrates and birds.
